Join the Rock Hall’s award-winning education team on for a special distance learning class to be streamed LIVE on the Rock Hall’s website. Rock Hall Educators will demonstrate how the Beatles drew from American music to create a sound and style that helped the band skyrocket to superstardom – beginning with their historic performance on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964. Students will examine how the music of artists such as Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, and the Everly Brothers, and even the sounds of early soul, Motown, and girl groups, shaped the Beatles as musicians and as songwriters.
Program will be held at the Abbeville Branch Library on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm, bring your lunch and join us!
