Computer classes sponsored by Vermilion Parish Library are being held at the Abbeville Branch Library. The classes are free and open to the public; however registration is required because of space limited to 15 per class. The classes are as follows:

**Learn about computer terms, storage devices, software, mice and keyboards and how to navigate the desktop and Windows

Wednesday, March 5, 2014                         1:00 pm  - 3:00 pm                           Microsoft Word Step 1
**Learn how to get around Word, create a new document, enter and edit text, proof a document and save and print a document

Thursday, March 20, 2015                             10:00 am – 12:00 pm                        Tablets & eReaders
**Bring your own tablet or eReader and learn how to navigate a hand-held device, different Apps, how to use the internet and how to download eBooks

**Learn what’s different about Windows 8, using modern Apps and Charms, back to desktop, applications and introduction to Word Processing

**Introduction to Spreadsheets, getting around in Excel, inputting data, simple calculations, project creations

**The certified instructor will answer any questions you have about Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Windows, Email, Internet and Tablets
